In 1994, the Grand Lodge of Tennessee initiated a Masonic renewal movement named VISION 2013. This program was so named, because the Grand Lodge of North Carolina AF&AM chartered the Grand Lodge of Tennessee on December 27, 1813.

VISION 2013 has been a very successful program. In order to build on past efforts and to continue to prepare Tennessee Freemasonry for the challenges of the future, on January 27, 2007, the name of the VISION 2013 committee was officially changed to THE LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE. The committee was charged to continue VISION 2013 and in addition, to develop and implement 5, 10 and 20 year strategic plans for Freemasonry in Tennessee. To help insure continuity of long range plans, a code change proposal was enacted which makes the newly elected Junior Grand Warden a member of this committee.

The LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE will work closely with other Grand Lodge Committees--especially the Ways and Means, Building Restoration, Education and State of the Craft Commmittees. Please click on links below for more information.
