Our first work day for the 1998 Grand Master's Work Project was Friday July 3. Several brethren met at Shoney's at 6:30 A.M. for a hearty breakfast. They were joined by Sister Bette Jean Berry (OES), Blount County HFH office manager and board member.
Shown in the photo above, are more than 20 brethren, representing 7 Lodges (and including 3 Worshipful Masters and 3 Secretaries of Blount County Lodges), arriving at the work site, preparing to begin construction of the sub-floor. The photo at right shows Brother Jerry Swaney (519--left) and Brother R. C. McElroy (719 PM and Secretary) preparing to set floor joists.
