ROBERTSON COUNTY HFH

An additional site for the 2000 GMWP will be Robertson County. Robertson County HFH was chartered as a HFH affiliate in November 1996. On August 3, 1997, this affiliate completed and dedicated its first house, which was built in 9 days! The house was built for Brother Marty Groves, (a member of Greenbrier Lodge #753) and his family. Please click here for more information and photos of the dedication ceremony.

In support of the 2000 Grand Master's Work Project, Robertson county brethren plan to help the affiliate with fund raising and house construction during M. W. Brother K. I. Wright's term as Grand Master. Robertson County has recently acquired a building lot located in Springfield. Several fund raising events have already been conducted. The GMWP fund will be making a mimimum donation of $2,000--most of this money has been raised by the PENNIES FROM HEAVEN program. Donations of building materials and labor will also be made. Construction of the house is scheduled to begin in early 2001.

For information about getting involved, or to make a donation, please contact Robertson County Chairman Brother Walter Lee or Western Star Lodge #9 Past Master Brother Jim Purviance.

For information about Robertson County HFH, please contact affiliate president Jerry McClain at 615-384-2015.
