The progress made is shown in the photo at left taken Saturday morning September 20.
By noon the trusses were all set and the everyone broke for lunch. A lunch was prepared by OES Sisters and served at the Nunnley Community center, a short distance from the building site.
Before eating, a brief devotional was held.
After lunch, everyone returned to the building site. Roof decking was installed on the back half of the house. Another work day was held on Saturday September 27. Leading the volunteers was Brother Terry Pinkerton. The work crew consistsed of Brenda Lee, Brothers Tom Boduch, Andy James, Danny James (548), the Carter Family and several members of Centerville's Eastern Star Chapter.
While the work crew continued decking the roof, lunch was served by Brother Ronnie Bell (618) who fried fish in the house's future kitchen (see photo at right).
Meanwhile, members of Centerville's Eastern Star Chapter (see photo at left), prepared a desert table in the house's future dining room!
