In 2006, Tennessee Lodge #204 and Avery Lodge #593 partnered with Loudon County HFH to build a house at 12 Webster Court in Loudon--one block from Tennessee Lodge #204.
As shown in the photo at right, construction began on Saturday March 4, 2006. .
Brother Ben Surrette, Past Grand High Priest RAM of Tennessee served as project coordinator.
As shown in the photos below, the walls were framed on Saturday March 25.
By 9:30 A. M., the first wall was up!

During the next week, several brethren from Tennessee Lodge #204 and Avery Lodge #593 completed the remaing walls and set most of the roof trusses. As shown in the photos beloe, the remaining trusses were set on Saturday April 1. Most of the roof decking was installed as well.

Over the next several weeks, the roof was shingled. The electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-ins were done. Vinyl siding was installed in mid April. Insulation and sheetrock were then installed.
Interior wall painting was done on May 6 and 7. Grade work was done as well. The house is shown in the photo at right as of May 7.

During the month of May, doors, trim and other fixtures were installed and utilities connected. The lawn was seeded and house landscaped.
Sadly, on Thursday May 25, Brother Ben Surette, who had been the prime motivator behind this project passed away after a long battle with cancer. With an undelying tone of sadness, as shown in the photo at right, a large number of workers, volunteers and friends gathered at the house on Saturday June 3 to dedicate the house.
