Winchester Lodge was chartered on October 6, 1849 as Cumberland Lodge #158. In 1916, the name was changed to Winchester Lodge, because a Cumberland Lodge was already in existence. Our secretary, Brother J. C. Jacobs is the longest serving Lodge secretary in the state of Tennessee--50 years as of 1/6/1998!
