Welcome to Cowan's Lodge #517's home page! Our stated meeting is held on the first Thursday at 7:00 P.M. Central Time.

Cowan Lodge No. 517 was chartered January 20, 1884. In the latter part of 1984 the lodge purchsed twin buildings on Tennessee Avenue and under the supervision of the Grand Architect, John W. Wright, lodge members and volunteers renovated the buildings completing a new lodge and fellowship hall. The new building was dedicated in the summer of 1985, at which time Brother Wright, a member of the lodge, was named 'Grand Architect' and served in that capacity during dedicatory services.
